Niles was rescued in 2011 from a cat hoarding situation as a kitten. He was tiny and underfed, but his mom Mary Garwood fell in love with him so hard she gave the people $50 the next day. When his mom passed away in 2015, her daughter took over as a poor replacement for the love that Mary poured into him. He died on Mary’s birthday 11 years after her passing.
