We own & operate our own “pet only” crematory on our Bellefontaine Funeral Home Campus

ALL Cremation Fees include:

  • Wooden Urn with Customized Engraving
  • Fur Clipping*
  • Paw Print (digital via www.thumbies.com, our Buddies partner)*
  • Cremation Certificate


*There are some circumstances which prevent us from obtaining a paw print or fur clipping.

0—4 Pounds: $99

5—35 Pounds: $149

36—75 Pounds: $199

76—125 Pounds: $249

126—200 Pounds: $299

201+ Pounds: $349

Documented Service Animals: $50


Office Hours are Monday - Friday from 9am to 4pm

Additional Options


  • After Hours Fee (4 to 10pm, Mon - Fri and 8am to 10pm Sat & Sun.): add $75
  • Pet Pick up from Logan County Vet Office (during business hours): No Charge
  • Pet Pick up from Residence (Logan/Champaign/Shelby County): add $150
  • Pet Pick up after 4pm or Weekend/Holiday: add $200
  • Additional Fur Clipping: $5
  • Request for Same-Day Cremation: add $95
  • Custom pet urns and keepsakes are available from $10 & up

  • What is included in the cremation service?

    Each private pet cremation will be returned to the family in a handcrafted wooded urn with an engraved name plate included in the cost. You will also be provided with a certificate of cremation.

  • How do I know the pet returned to me is actually my pet?

    Just like human cremation, pets are given a stainless-steel ID disc that identifies your pet and because we perform all pet cremations ON-SITE by professionally trained staff, we can guarantee you are receiving your pet.

  • How long does the cremation process take?

    We make every effort to make daily visits to the veterinarian offices and return averages about 3 business days.
